Near Completion in Vancouver

It’s always exciting to watch customers move through the building process, however long it takes them. The pictures below are the follow up from last year; the framing throughout is a combination of 8” x 8” | 8” x 12” | 8” 3-way connectors. Although Adam has been very busy, he made time this summer to improve on his custom cabin: the metal siding is a classy choice and the interior just gorgeous.

Making it Work

Matthew in New Brunswick ordered over a hundred 6” x 6” | 6” splice | 6” corner connectors this spring for his custom 40’ x 45’ structure. He then waited a month for the foundation to cure. Recently he installed a crane on his tractor, and said to “look forward to seeing the rest of the framing completed a lot safer than using a box on the bucket!”

Williamsburg Art Studio

Gunnar began his custom Art Studio early last year in North Carolina, after modifying the Williamsburg plan slightly to accommodate a garage below. Here’s an update: “We’re loving the T-REX plates!” and the metal roof is finally on. He remarked that the 2” Southern Yellow Pine tongue and v-groove flooring worked out well spaced at 48” on the 6” x 8” joists…thanks Gunnar, for sharing your pictures and comments.

Covered Patio in Australia

Brett saw the Connext system online and knew he had to have it, no matter what the shipping and duties would cost him. He ordered 6” x 6” and 6” x 8” connectors to support the new patio roof, extending out below the solar panels on his existing roof. He used Australian hardwoods, both east coast eucalpt species: ‘Spotted Gum’ for the posts and ‘Red Ironbark’ for the beams. That’s Aussie foresight and determination for you!
