Pergolas in Kansas
What an interesting history for these “new” pergolas. “The Douglas Fir posts were previously telephone poles that held up the lights for the Moundridge KS High School football field. We salvaged the poles and had them sawn into 8x8’s and 4x6’s on an antique circular sawmill,” Berry wrote. Connext really does make an ideal base.
Christian Island Canada
Neil began framing this addition to an existing dwelling earlier this year on the island, with the help of a diverse group of guys and gals. They used 5.5” x 5.5” connectors and 5.5” 3-way connectors for the basic framing. Let’s look forward to seeing the finished pictures!
Pergola Base
This is a project that was built in CA using Connext and HDPE Risers for the posts. Carey says, “It turned out great! I cut the stone 6x6 to float a level base on the concrete pad and used the risers to get the posts off the surface.”
