Structural Connectors for Post & Beam Construction
Connext manufactures aluminum connectors used to join posts, beams, and multi-member joints in post and beam construction. Our system is designed to simplify timber connections while maintaining clean architectural lines and efficient installation on site.
Structural Connectors
The Connext system begins with patented and structurally approved connectors, fabricated from 6061 structural grade aluminum and e-coated black. Connext displays the wood with minimal metal visibility. Architects can add them confidently for either an old-school or a minimalist, modern look. Contractors and experienced DIY-ers can frame easily with the Connext system, preserving the natural beauty of wood.
King Brown, Architect & General Contractor
“I have been fortunate to design / build many spectacular custom projects. I found Connext about 10 years ago. They have simplified my timber framing dramatically. I don't have to custom design, engineer, and fabricate connectors any longer. The Connext product dramatically simplifies and expedites installation. My framers love it and so do I.”
Tools for the Job
Connext tools are designed to support accurate, repeatable timber cuts for use with the Connext system. These tools simplify layout, slotting, end cuts, and angled cuts, helping crews execute clean connections with consistency on site.
The goal is not complexity — it’s reliability, speed, and predictable results in the field.
Plans
Plans are essential to the construction of any building. Connext provides plans ranging from small buildings and pergolas to huge barns and 2- story homes. Designers are available to customize plans. Connext has the product drawings and engineering specs to support architects, designers, and contractors.
“Connext parts are solid, perfectly machined, and the optional tools make installation both foolproof and precise.”
